The impact of V, Jimin, Jungkook and Jin on Instagram is no joke.
Personal Instagram accounts of popular Kpop idols always draw high engagements. Known as the social media king of Kpop, BTS has an impressive impact on Instagram despite having launched their individual accounts not long ago. In particular, the group’s vocal line V, Jimin, Jungkook and Jin all have posts with more than 15 million likes, a mind blowing number.
Introducing their personal Instagram accounts on December 6, 2021, Jin now has more than 27.9 million followers. The oldest member of BTS often shares with fans adorable daily life moments of himself and his favorite food on Instagram. Although Jin has only uploaded 18 posts, most of them have recorded over 10 million likes. Notably, the photo of Jin and maknae Jungkook in historical costumes as cameos for Suga’s “Daechwita” MV has earned more than 16 million likes.
Although he barely updates, Jimin’s Instagram account has more than 29.2 million followers and not a single post of Jimin has less than 10 million likes, with his 2 first posts even exceeding 15 million likes.
Jungkook is the second most followed BTS member on Instagram with 31.3 million followers. Since the day he started Instagram, Jungkook has attracted attention with a unique username that cannot be longer. The first photos posted by BTS’s maknae have all reached more than 16 million likes.
The most active and most followed BTS member on Instagram is V, with 33.2 million followers. V also set the record as the fastest male idol to reach 1 million followers on Instagram in just 43 minutes. V’s account reached 30 million followers in only 27 days.
It comes as no surprise that V’s Instagram posts have high engagements. Recently, V became the Kpop idol with the most posts reaching 15 million likes (7 posts). V has a post that reached 5 million likes in 1 hour and 43 minutes and 10 million likes in 6 hours and 10 minutes. This is a rare achievement for a Kpop artist.
4 members BTS’s vocal line are the first K-pop idols to reach the milestone of 15 million likes on Instagram. Before that, only famous Western celebrities and world class football players achieved this number of likes on their Instagram posts such as: Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Kylie Jenner, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo. This proves the amazing impact of BTS on Instagram.
