BTS’s V Reveals Participation in Cartier’s Luxury Watch Auction, Talks Solo Album and Personal Goals
BTS member V has confessed to participating in a watch auction by luxury brand Cartier.
On August 24th, a video featuring BTS’s V was released on W Korea’s YouTube channel.
In the revealed video, V said, “A part of my body I’m most confident about is my hands.“
Regarding his vacation plans, V said, “I’ve rested a lot, and now I’m diligently preparing to work hard.“
He continued, “The movie I enjoyed watching recently was ‘Barbie.’ It had the strongest impact among the movies I’ve seen lately.“
About his upcoming first solo album set to be released next month, V raised expectations by saying, “It was a bit challenging to go for standard jazz, so I tried to make it sound more friendly to the public. It will be music that’s good to listen to when the sun sets, when the dusk falls, when driving, and when leaving work.“
V revealed, “(In my solo activities,) I don’t think I will carry BTS V’s color. When I’m with the group, that color shines the most, and as a soloist, I want to show a different side.“
He expressed satisfaction by saying, “I really understand how much the members have struggled. But the preparation for the solo album is fun and refreshing because it’s as challenging as it is.”
When asked about his recent flex, he confessed, “I’m still in the midst of the auction, and I’m continuing to determine the price. I’m trying hard to get a Cartier Crash watch. Isn’t it a total flex? There’s a possibility I might not get it, so I’m putting in a lot of effort.”
