BTS’s Jungkook is reaching the pinnacle of his solo career with his new release ‘GOLDEN’
On October 4th, Jungkook announced through the global fan platform Weverse that he will be releasing his first solo album ‘GOLDEN’ on November 3rd at 1 PM Korean time.
‘GOLDEN’ is an album inspired by the golden moments of the solo artist Jungkook, and the title is impressive, evoking his nickname, ‘Golden Maknae.’ Through this album, Jungkook plans to reveal his true identity and colors without reservation.
‘GOLDEN’ includes a total of 11 songs, including previously released solo singles ‘Seven (feat. Latto)’ and ‘3D (feat. Jack Harlow).’ In September, when ‘3D’ was released, Jungkook expressed his ambition through his agency, Big Hit Music, stating, “I will try all the music I can with my voice. I want to share many good songs with you.” As a result, expectations are rising for the songs included in his first solo album.
Jungkook created a global sensation with ‘Seven’ and ‘3D,’ achieving remarkable success not only in South Korea but also in major overseas charts such as the United States and the United Kingdom. In particular, on the latest ‘Daily Top Songs Global’ chart from the world’s largest streaming platform, Spotify (as of October 2nd), ‘3D’ reached the top, making Jungkook the first Korean solo artist to have two or more songs at No. 1 in Spotify history.
