The funeral took place at the funeral hall of National Health Insurance Service Ilsan Hospital in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do. Nam Moon-chul was laid to rest at Busan Memorial Park in Gijang-gun, Busan.

Nam Moon-cheol’s posthumous work is the movie “The Roundup”, which surpassed 12 million admissions.

In the film, he portrayed the character Choi Choon-baek, the head of a loan company, leaving a strong impression with his passionate performance.
