This past July, BTS finally reunited as seven after nearly three years. Following their long hiatus from the music scene, fans have been eagerly awaiting news of their next steps. Recently, a Korean online outlet revealed major details about the group’s future tour plans.

BTS is reportedly set to launch their 2026 World Tour in May, running through December, with a total of 65 shows expected to draw around 4 million attendees. On average, each concert is estimated to welcome over 60,000 fans. Analysts project HYBE’s operating profits to surpass 1 trillion won once the tour begins in the second quarter of next year.
On September 30, Hyundai Motor Securities researcher Kim Hyun Yong disclosed: “BTS will release four concert films across 2,500 theaters in 65 countries, running for two weeks from the 24th of this month to early next year. At the same time, HYBE plans to open additional pop-up stores to keep momentum strong, ahead of the official announcement of the 2026 World Tour later this year.”

With an estimated 4 million attendees, BTS’s 2026 tour is poised to claim the title of the most successful K-pop tour in history. Currently, the record belongs to Stray Kids’ dominATE Tour with 1.98 million attendees, followed by BTS’s own Love: Speak Yourself tour with 1.93 million, and BLACKPINK’s Born Pink Tour with 1.81 million.
Fans predict ticketing will be extremely competitive, with high demand surging after the group’s three-year break. Many are also concerned that scalpers will exploit the frenzy, making ticket prices skyrocket.
