BTS V (Kim Tae-hyung) and actor Kang Dong-won met in Las Vegas.
V posted a photo on his Instagram Story on April 13th along with the short caption, “Geochang younger brother and Geochang big brother”.
The released photo showed Kang Dong-won and V, who were holding a cup of drink, staring at the camera. Kang Dong-won put his hand on V’s shoulder and V was doing a cool expression. The warm visuals of the two, who look like real brothers, drew attention.
Through the photo in the background and the phrase “One show” added by V, the two are believed to have watched the CIRQUE DU SOLEIL’s show “Michael Jackson ONE” in Las Vegas.
When asked about his role model during BTS’s Seasons’ Greeting shoot last year, V said, “Kang Dong-won is my 9th role model”, adding, “I’m from Geochang. Kang Dong-won sunbaenim was not born in Geochang but he graduated from Geochang High School. That gave me the thought, ‘So people from Geochang can also succeed like him’”.
“Role model” big brother Kang Dong-won and “younger brother” V seem to have become much closer, creating a friendly atmosphere. Internet users on SNS sites and online communities who saw this post gave enthusiastic responses, saying, “This is really fate”, “Wow, you two look like real brothers”, “Two world-class stars met each other”, “This visual combination is so crazy”, etc.
Meanwhile, V’s group BTS will hold their 3rd and 4th shows of the concert tour “BTS PERFORMANCE TO DANCE ON STAGE – LAS VEGAS” at Allegiant Stadium in L.A on the 15th and 16th.
