On August 2nd, SPOTV News reported that V is working with ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin to prepare for his solo album.
Accordingly, V is preparing a solo album that will be different from his work with BTS along with CEO Min Hee Jin. The specific plan, including solo announcement, has not yet been disclosed.
During BTS promotions, V gained huge love with his performances of various music genres, such as R&B and jazz along with dance music and hip-hop. As the last member of the group to make a solo debut, V is already raising fans’ expectations for the result of his collaboration with CEO Min Hee Jin.
Apart from being the CEO of ADOR, Min Hee Jin is also active as the executive producer of NewJeans. Under her instruction, NewJeans captivated music fans by reinterpreting the Y2K trend of the 1990s with their own color and has always been at the center of attention since their debut.
Especially, Min Hee Jin also showcased her ‘perfectionist’ aspect as an executive producer through the process of NewJeans recording their album.
Meanwhile, Min Hee Jin joined SM Entertainment in 2002 as a graphic designer then became a director and worked there for 17 years. During the time she was under SM, Min Hee Jin made her name known among K-pop fans as she was in charge of creating concepts for many famous SM groups, including Girls’ Generation, SHINee, Red Velvet, and EXO.
Later, Min Hee Jin quit her job at SM after suffering burnout. She joined HYBE in 2019 and was appointed as CBO. In the process, it was revealed that CEO Min received over 500 million won in annual salary, drawing keen attention from the public.
In February, Min Hee Jin was named in the list of “2023 Billboard WOMEN IN MUSIC” released on the official website of Billboard. “Billboard WOMEN IN MUSIC” is a list of female artists, producers, creators, and executives who have made themselves stand out in the music industry throughout the year.
