BTS V received a commendation plaque from Goyang City for his faithful tax payment.
On September 1st, the city of Goyang announced that it has selected and awarded a plaque of commendation to those who contributed to the city’s financial expansion by faithfully paying local taxes.
This award for conscientious taxpayers is designed to express gratitude to taxpayers who faithfully pay local taxes, as well as to create a tax payment culture in which faithful taxpayers are respected and favored in the local community.
In particular, these faithful taxpayers include individuals and corporations who have paid more than a certain amount of local taxes over the past three years. For this year, 46,000 were selected as faithful tax payers, and out of them, 8 were awarded commendation plaques for their contribution to the local fiscal expansion.
BTS member V was included among the three individuals who were awarded the commendation plaque on this day. While V was unable to attend the summit due to his busy schedules, his father received the award on behalf of the male idol and shared the joy.
Regarding the commendation, Lee Dong Hwan, the mayor of Goyang City, said, “The driving force behind Goyang is the taxes paid by sincere taxpayers. We will do our best to help Goyang leap forward as a special economic case and establish a culture where conscientious taxpayers are treated preferentially.”
