On October 8 (local time), Rolling Stone revealed its official ranking, celebrating the most influential songs released since 2000. Among the global icons included were four Korean acts: BTS, BLACKPINK, Girls’ Generation, and NewJeans — each representing a defining era of K-pop evolution.

BTS “Spring Day” (Ranked No. 37)

Rolling Stone praised the track, writing: “‘Spring Day’ is one of the defining songs by BTS one of the biggest pop groups of the 21st century. Its transcendent expression of grief, recovery, and hope resonates deeply and marks a turning point in BTS’s global rise. The song also demonstrates the group’s emotional unity and musical strength.”
