At the 2021 American Music Awards, which was held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on November 22nd, BTS won a total of 3 categories, including “Favorite Pop Duo/Group”, “Favorite Pop Song” (for “Butter”), and “Artist of the Year”.

In particular, BTS proved their outstanding global popularity by winning the main category “Favorite Pop Song” and the grand prize “Artist of the Year” for the first time.
