BTS Jungkook’s “Dreamers” ranked first place on iHeartRadio’s “Most Requested Live”, continuing the winning streak across global digital music charts and award events
BTS Jungkook’s “Dreamers” shone a dazzling popularity in the American showbiz.
Recently, iHeartRadio, a famous U.S. radio program, released the top 30 “Most Requested Live” by listeners in ranking.
The official soundtrack “Dreamers” of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, performed by Jungkook on November 20th, topped the ranking, proving its extraordinary popularity.
Avril Lavigne’s “I’m a Mess” (with YUNGBLUD) ranked second, Selena Gomez’s “My Mind & Me” ranked third, Taylor Swift’s “Lavender Haze” at fourth, Meghan Trainor’s “Made You Look” at fifth, “Super Freaky Girl” ranked sixth, Beyonce’s “Cuff It” landed on seventh, Taylor Swift’s “Anti-Hero” at eighth, David Guetta x Bebe Rexha’s “I’m Good” at ninth and Sam Smith’s “Unholly” (ft. Kim Petras) in tenth place.
Earlier, “Dreamers” made new records by sweeping the world’s digital song sales chart for two consecutive weeks, including the No. 1 “Digital Song Sales” chart of Billboard as the official soundtrack of the World Cup.
In addition, Dreamers ranked 9th on the “Billboard Global 200” chart, which compiles the streaming and sales from more than 200 countries around the world, and landed at 4th place in Global (excluding the U.S.) and 10th place in “Bubbling Under Hot 100.”
Along with this, “Dreamers” is a ‘first’ in World Cup song history that took first place in more than 100 countries on the global music platform iTunes on the first day of its release, and topped the chart in 104 countries.
“Dreamers” entered Spotify’s “Global Chart”, ranked second in Asian solo songs and became the first Korean solo song to be listed on the “Daily Viral Song Chart” in all countries and regions. It boasted super-powerful source popularity, charting in 73 countries at the same time.
Jungkook recently won the “2022 Year-End’s Best Gold & Platinum Awards” from the prestigious Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for his collaboration song “Left and Right” with singer-songwriter Charlie Puth. He is also the only solo K-pop singer to win “The Collaboration Song of 2022” at the “2022 People’s Choice Awards”.
