Jungkook, the youngest member of Korea’s representative idol group BTS, is making his first step as a solo singer.
On June 30th, Big Hit Music announced the solo debut of BTS member Jungkook through the fan community Weverse.
That day, Big Hit posted a notice, saying “We are pleased to inform you about the release of ‘Seven’, the solo digital single by BTS member Jungkook”.
According to the agency, the new music release by Jungkook is going to be a “summer song” with a cheerful melody and summer energy.
The title “Seven” and the cover picture of the single with phrases such as “SEVEN”, “Jung Kook”, and “7” on a simple white background released together in the notice attract keen attention.
Big Hit emphasized, “The song is sure to have you experience the full breadth of Jungkook’s charm”, adding “We hope that ‘Seven’ will bring your summer fun to the next level”.
Lastly, they stated, “As Jungkook kicks off his official solo activities, we ask you to extend your utmost anticipation and support for his digital single and many other activities to come”.
Jungkook’s first solo digital single “Seven” will be released at 1 p.m. on July 14th (KST).
