BTS Jungkook was selected as the No.1 idol who shows superb performance on solo activities.
Jungkook took first place in the “idol who shows superb performance on solo activities” survey, which was held by Idol Champ from March 22nd to April 4th.
In particular, Jungkook topped the list with 58.99% of the votes. He was followed by NCT Mark (15.56%), BTS RM (10.84%), GOT7 BamBam (4.07%), SHINee Key (3.43%), Mamamoo Moonbyul (1.44%), BLACKPINK Lisa (1.29%), Ha Sung Woon (1.14%), EXO Kai (0.99%) and TWICE Nayeon (0.90%).
On the other hand, Jungkook participated in the official soundtrack “Dreamers” of the 2022 FIFA Qatar World Cup last year. He graced the main highlight stage of the opening ceremony, proving his “incomparable” reputation and presence as a solo artist.
In addition, Jungkook entered the main single chart “Hot 100” of the famous U.S. music media outlet “Billboard” for 17 consecutive weeks with his collaboration song “Left and Right” with U.S. pop star Charlie Puth. He showed the strong music power that dominates the top of major global platforms’ charts for a long time.
“Left and Right” won the “Collaboration Song” category at the “E! People’s Choice Awards 2022·PCAs”, and the “2022 Year-end Best Gold” category of the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Besides, it was named one of the “17 Biggest Song Collaborations of 2022” by the U.S. music media outlet “Billboard”.
Along with this, Jungkook ranked 95th and 84th on the “Hot 100” chart with his solo songs “Stay Alive” and “My Time”, respectively. Released in 2022, “Stay Alive” became the first Korean webtoon OST to enter the “Hot 100” chart.
Previously, Jungkook was the only Korean male singer to be selected as one of the “200 Greatest Singers of All Time” by the U.S. music media outlet “Rolling Stone”.
