Jungkook, a member of boy group BTS, expressed his regrets over not studying seriously in his youth.
Recently, Jungkook conducted a live broadcast on the fan community platform Weverse. On this day, the BTS member tried to communicate with fans worldwide in English and Japanese.
However, he got tongue-tied and explained, “I can’t use anything other than Korean, Japanese, and English. Honestly, I can only speak Korean.”
Then, when Jungkook couldn’t express himself smoothly, the male idol showed a sulky expression and said cutely, “I spoke zero languages”.
Afterwards, Jungkook proceeded to joke that this is because he barely studied for an hour a day when he was young. He also added, “Nevertheless, I grew up well despite not studying much. I think it’s because I met good people.”
Finally, Jungkook shared, “When I was in second grade of elementary school, I dropped my pencil. If I could go back to the past, I would scold myself and say something like, ‘You can live your life the way you want, but please study a bit. At least learn English and Korean’.”
The male idol also confessed that he found English really difficult.
