BTS Jin’s pre-recorded “Suchwita” episode is drawing massive attention.
On June 2nd, BTS TV released the teaser for the 12th episode of “Suchwita” featuring BTS Jin. The teaser sent worldwide media into a frenzy.
The article titled “BTS’ Jin will guest star on Suga’s ‘Suchwita’: Watch the teaser” gained much attention. It is currently ranking third among the news about the most sensational pop icons in the U.S.
On YouTube, the teaser video quickly climbed to No. 2 on Music video Trending Worldwide ranking and No. 11 in popular YouTube videos in Korea. The episode will be released on June 10th at 10 PM (KST).
Last year, BTS Jin released the solo single “The Astronaut” in October before joining the military. The song received acclaim from various media and magazines around the world.
“The Astronaut” first entered the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 at No. 51 and topped the U.S. iTunes chart in the shortest time ever for a song by a K-pop soloist, in an hour and 23 minutes.
Jin’s “The Astronaut” recorded the highest ranking for a solo single in the history of the Circle Chart and was named the first million seller officially by the Korea Music Content Association (KMCA). Jin was also the first BTS member to receive the “Gold Disc Certification” from the Japan Record Association (RIAJ).
