BTS member Jimin released a proof shot of Ken’s guitar he received as a gift from Hollywood actor Ryan Gosling.
On July 24th, Jimin uploaded a video on his SNS account tagging the account of the movie “Barbie”. He added a caption, saying “Thanks for having my outfit in the movie. You rocked it, Ken”.
The released video shows Jimin responding to the gift he received from Ryan Gosling. Holding the guitar, Jimin greeted, “Hi Ryan. Hi Ken. It’s Jimin”, adding “Congratulations on your movie release. My fans are excited to see your video, so thank you so much”.
Jimin continued, “I could see that you look great in my (Permission to Dance) outfit (in “Barbie”). Thank you for this guitar. I really love it. I really look forward to watching ‘Barbie’”. He smiled and said, “Go ‘Barbie’.”
As such, Jimin drew keen attention with his response to Ryan Gosling’s gift. In a video uploaded on the official SNS account of the movie “Barbie” on the 20th, actor Ryan Gosling said, “Hi Jimin, it’s Ryan Gosling here”, adding “I noticed that your ‘Permission to Dance’ outfit was the same as my Ken’s outfit in the upcoming movie ‘Barbie’. You wore it first, you definitely wore it best.”
He continued, “There’s a nonspoken Ken code that if you bite another Ken’s style, you have to give them your most prized possession”, adding “So I hope you accept Ken’s guitar as my humble offering, and besides, Ken doesn’t play it anyway, so it would be much better in your hand.”
