Jimin, a member of boy group BTS, announced the current status of Jin, who is serving in the military.
On the 10th, a video titled “Jimin ‘FACE’ Music Show Promotions Sketch” was published on BTS’ YouTube channel “BANGTANTV”.
In the released video, BTS Jimin can be seen preparing for the pre-recording of KBS2’s “Music Bank”. Here, Jimin pre-recorded the performances of “Set Me Free Pt.2” and “Like Crazy” in front of fans, who cheered enthusiastically.
On the same day, BTS Suga made a surprise appearance. According to the male idol, he came to support Jimin as it is the other’s first show, and that he thought Jimin would be nervous.
Later on, Jimin concluded his performance and said, “I finished my first pre-recording”, adding, “Thank you SUGA for coming today. The most important thing is that ARMY (fans of BTS) were looking forward to today’s performance, and that they came here. I’m so sorry and thank you so much. I’m full of emotions right now.”
The male idol also continued, “I just loved seeing them after a long time. Other members wanted to see ARMY too, I wish they were here with me.”
Jimin then referred to Jin, who is currently serving in the military, and shared, “As I said before, Jin wanted to see ARMY so badly.”
Meanwhile, Jin, who enlisted in December of last year, was scheduled to become a private on September 1st, but was promoted early as he became a special soldier. His expected discharge date is June 12th in 2024.
