j-hope, a member of BTS, has shared a recent photo of his short haircut before his military enlistment date.
On the morning of April 8th, BTS members j-hope, V, and Jungkook held a live broadcast titled “Hello” through BTS’s official fan community platform Weverse.
In the live broadcast, V visited Jungkook’s house and greeted by saying, “I turned it (the live) on because I missed ARMY”. Meanwhile,j-hope, who appeared later, drew attention with a different hairstyle from before.
j-hope, who cut his hair short before his military enlistment, shyly brushed his hair back and said, “I cut my hair. I cut it a little before I left.”
He then said, “What should I do with my hair? Why did it get so short?“, adding, “(When you go to the military) you have to cut it like this.”
Meanwhile, V said, “Everyone, our brother Hobi is leaving,” and hugged j-hope tightly, while j-hope smiled and said, “Stop it.”
Afterward, j-hope, who showed his face close to the camera, couldn’t hide the awkwardness in his short hair. “I feel like a fool because I didn’t put anything on my hair”, the male idol expressed.
j-hope is the second member of the team to serve in the military after Jin, who enlisted in the Army as an active duty soldier last December.
Previously, Big Hit Music stated, “j-hope plans to enlist as an active duty soldier to fulfill his military service obligations, and there will be no separate official events on the day of entering the new soldier training center.”
The agency also said, “As the new soldier training center’s entrance ceremony is a place where many soldiers and families gather, we ask fans not to visit the site to prevent safety accidents due to on-site congestion,” adding, “We ask for your unwavering love and support until the day j-hope completes his military service and returns healthily.”
Although j-hope’s enlistment date has been decided, the specific date and unit he will be entering have not been disclosed. However, with j-hope revealing his short hair, it seems that his enlistment date is quickly approaching.
