The world’s most popular boy group BTS (RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook) participated in the 2021 Jingle Ball Tour – a major American music festival.
In particular, in an interview with Jingle Ball, they raised fans’ expectations by giving a hint about their future plans.
BTS appeared on the iHeartRadio 2021 Jingle Ball Tour held at The Forum, Los Angeles on the afternoon of Dec 3rd (local time). In charge of the opening stage, BTS performed “Butter” and “Dynamite” to splendidly open the door to the Jingle Ball Tour. They shared their feelings, “It’s great to be back on the ‘Jingle Ball’ stage after 2 years. We really missed you all.”
Between “Butter” and “Dynamite“, there was a surprise birthday celebration for Jin. Born on Dec 4th, Jin looked thrilled when a birthday cake appeared on the stage. Then, not only other members but also the audience sang a birthday song for him.
Prior to taking part in the 2021 Jingle Ball Tour, BTS had completed the four-night LA concert schedule. According to Billboard, their first offline concert in 2 years sold 214,000 tickets.
In an interview with iHeartRadio on the same day, BTS expressed their overwhelming emotion about the concert, “We couldn’t believe it.”
In particular, iHeartRadio asked the members, “If you are preparing for a new album, please blink twice at the camera.” Upon hearing this, BTS responded by constantly blinking their eyes.
The following question was also important, “If you are preparing for a world tour in 2022, please blink three times.” This time, all the members blinked again and V even blinked without stopping, which made everyone burst into laughter.
As such, hints about BTS‘ new album and world tour were given. In fact, BTS made a surprise announcement the day before that they planned a concert in Seoul in March 2022.
