BTS has won for five consecutive years at Europe’s largest music awards “MTV Europe Music Awards” (hereinafter referred to as “MTV EMA”).
On November 13th (local time), BTS won the “Biggest Fans” category at the 2022 MTV EMA, which was held at PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf, Germany.
This means BTS has won the “Biggest Fans” award for five consecutive years since 2018.
Starting with winning the “Best Korean Act” in 2015, BTS has received the honor in two categories: “Best Group” and “Biggest Fans” in 2018, and “Best Group”, “Best Live” and “Biggest Fans” in 2019.
In 2020, BTS won four categories: “Best Song”, “Best Group”, “Best Virtual Live”, “Biggest Fans”. In 2021, the group also received 4 wins in “Best Pop”, “Best K-pop”, “Best Group”, and “Biggest Fans”.
