“One Dollar Lawyer” Kim Ji Eun shared her thoughts on her resemblance to Han So Hee and Ryu Jin, her ambition and more
Actress Kim Ji Eun cited her overflowing energy as her strength as an actress.
Actress Kim Ji Eun, who recently had an interview with OSEN to commemorate the end of the drama “One Dollar Lawyer,” shared the driving force behind her acting and her strength as an actress.
When asked about her thoughts after hearing that she made headlines for her resemblance to various celebrities, including actress Han So Hee, idols Ryu Jin and Seol Hyun, Kim Ji Eun shared, “I’m happy to hear that. They’re all so pretty, and they have an aura and atmosphere that I can’t imitate. I’m very grateful.”
Kim Ji Eun then said about her strength as an actress, “The fact that I am full of energy? I’m the type to greet everyone when I go to the filming venue despite just reading malicious comments. Even though people around me comfort me, I can’t help but think “Oh well~” and to me, that’s my strength. Kim Ji Eun as a normal person is also similar. I get energy whenever I meet people, so it seems to emit even more. My strength is that I have good resilience and can exchange energy when I am with other people,” she explained.
Also, when asked if she has an ultimate goal as an actress, she answered, “I want to continue to be an actress whom you guys are always curious about. I hope the audience keeps wondering about me,” she said. “I want to be an actress whose next role and next move people always raise questions about.”
In particular, Kim Ji Eun has been developing her impressive acting by working in perfect teamwork with actors who are good at acting, including Nam Goong Min in MBC’s “The Veil,” SBS’s “One Dollar Lawyer,” and Lee Jun Ki in SBS’s “Again My Life.” She also added that she is interested in romantic comedy, youth, and female narrative genres.
Kim Ji Eun said, “My next work has been decided, but I also want to try romance comedy, youth, and college campus movies. I wonder if I’m already too old for campus life (laugh).” She continued, “I also had a lot of fun filming ‘The Best Moment to Quit Your Job’ about women in the past. If I have a chance, I want to shoot a work about stories of women,” she hoped.
When asked if there was an actor she wanted to work with, Kim Ji Eun said, “I think it will be fun no matter what kind of actor will become my acting partner, and it will be fun because of our differences. But I really want to act with Park Jung Min and Jeon Do Yeon.”
When asked if she would like to work with Nam Goong Min again in her next work, Kim Ji Eun said, “I want to work with him again if I can. If there’s any chance, I want to try the fantasy genre. The kind where I can disappear after jumping.” When asked about her thoughts about starring in a romantic comedy with Nam Goong Min, “Will the viewers enjoy it? As he keeps appearing as my senior,” she smilingly said.
