BTS earned nearly 100 billion won from 11 concerts within the first half of 2022

BTS is placed No.4 on Billboard’s Box Score ‘Top Tour’ rankings.

According to the annual half-year report released by Billboard on June 8th, BTS’s “Permission to Dance on Stage” world tour attracted 458,000 attendees with a total of 11 shows, including four in Los Angeles, three in Seoul, and four in Las Vegas.

This achievement made BTS come in fourth place in the 2022 Billboard’s Box Score “Top Tour” mid-year ranking, following other worldwide pop stars including Bad Bunny (37 shows), Elton John (40 shows), and Genesis (35 shows). Big Hit Music commented, “Considering the number of shows by the rest of the artists in the Top 5, we can gauge BTS’s power.

In addition, BTS recorded $35.9 million (about 45.05 billion won) in ticket sales for their Las Vegas concert in April, which garnered 200,000 attendees, and climbed to the top of the monthly Billboard ‘Top Tour’ and ‘Top Box Score’ in April.

BTS is estimated to have earned $75.4 million (about 94.6 billion won) in the first half of 2022 through concerts held in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
