BTS made a surprise appearance during the Academy Awards.
While the 94th Academy Awards was held in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California on March 27th (local time), Korean group BTS appeared on the VCR to recommend Will Smith‘s “King Richard”.
In the video, BTS members mentioned Pixar’s animation “Coco“. BTS‘ leader RM said, “I watched ‘Coco’ three times and I cried a lot.”
J-Hope shared, “Overall, I like Disney movies. I really liked ‘Aladdin’.”
In response, RM referred to Will Smith, an actor who appeared in “Aladdin“, and cheered him on.
Meanwhile, Korean actress Youn Yuh-jung appeared as the presenter for the Best Supporting Actor award at the awards ceremony. On this day, she shared warmth by wearing a #WithRefugees (a campaign launched by the UNHCR) ribbon on her black dress.
