Boy group BTS to release a new song called “The Planet” that emphasizes environmental protection 

Boy group BTS will release a new song as a full group on this day. 

On May 12th, Big Hit Music announces that the boy group BTS will release a new song called “The Planet” on the same day at 1 p.m. (KST). 

“The Planet” is the theme song of the SBS animation “BASTIONS”. It is the first time in 11 months that BTS has released a new song as a group since “Yet To Come” in June last year.

Big Hit Music said, “‘The Planet’ consists of a cheerful base and a pleasant melody full of hope”. It will show the members’ individuality and refreshing vocals. 

The lyrics of the song emphasize the importance of protecting the Earth where we live.

“BASTIONS” tells the story of a group of hero rookies who identifies the villain that is the main culprit of environmental destruction and saves the Earth.
