BoA, SNSD, Red Velvet, and aespa, delightful news announced by SM Entertainment 

SM’s female project group GOT the beat (BoA, Taeyeon, Hyoyeon, Seulgi, Wendy, Karina, and Winter) will be making a comeback. 

On December 29th, SM Entertainment announced that its female project group GOT the Beat, which consists of BoA, SNSD’s Taeyeon and Hyoyeon, Red Velvet’s Seulgi and Wendy, and aespa’s Karina and Winter”, will release their 1st mini-album. In particular, the album, titled “Stamp On It”, will contain a total of 6 songs and is scheduled for release on January 16th, 2023.

Back on January 3rd, GOT the Beat released their 1st digital single “Step Back”, which made it to 3rd place on Melon’s TOP 100 chart, 4th on Genie’s real-time chart, 4th on Flo’s 24-hour chart, 1st on Bugs’s daily chart, and so on. It also ranked 4th on VIBE’s Daily Chart, appeared in Korea’s Apple Music TOP 100 chart, and placed 1st on the SBS music show Inkigayo for two weeks in a row.

“Stamp On It” will be GOT the Beat’s first comeback and album after a year.

Meanwhile, SM Entertainment released the special album “2022 Winter SMTOWN: SMCU PALACE” on December 26th.

In addition, the entertainment company will be holding their company concert “SMTOWN LIVE 2023 : SMCU PALACE@KWANGYA” on January 1st at 1:00 PM (KST), which will broadcast live online for free via platforms such as YouTube, Beyond LIVE, Japan KNTV, TikTok, Instagram, Idol Plus, and so on.
