Recently, BoA captured and shared an article about Fubao on her Instagram. The article stated that over 10,000 people applied for the part-time job of becoming a daily manager for Fubao the panda at Yongin Everland.
The part-time job, which will select three individuals, was announced to pay 500,000 won for approximately one hour of work from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM KST on a selected day between July 10th and 14th.
BoA, known as a huge fan of Fubao, asked her fans, “How can I apply for this?“. BoA has previously expressed her affection for Fubao, revealing that Fubao’s eating, sleeping, and rolling around habits are similar to her usual self.
However, the successful candidates were already selected and individually notified on July 7th. When fans informed her about this, BoA showed her determination, “It’s already over? I could have been a hardworking manager!”
She added, “If I were in front of Fubao, I could even wander around. I can sing any songs Fubao wants to hear… I saw the hiring news late because I was too busy. I love you, Fubao ♥.” She continued by posting a photo of Fubao and said, “My healing… I will definitely come to see you!”
Fubao is the first-ever panda born in 2020 in South Korea through natural breeding. In 2014, after Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to South Korea, Everland brought in Ai Bao (female) and Lu Bao (male), and Fubao was born between them. Recently, Ai Bao and Le Bao became the parents of twin daughters, making Fubao the “big sister.”
Meanwhile, BoA is currently serving as an MC on JTBC’s ‘K-909’ and actively participating in performances alongside Kim Wan Sun, Uhm Jung Hwa, Lee Hyori, and Hwasa on tvN’s “Dancing Queens on the Road.”
