IU’s agency EDAM Entertainment released the mood film of IU’s 6th mini-album “The Winning” on its official social media channel at midnight of January 29th.
In the video, IU caught the eye of viewers with her unconventional blonde hair and intense red outfit. She sprayed the camera lens and stood there holding a crumpled paper, staring at the camera. After several scenes, IU looked at the screen once again against a green background, and subtitles with the name “The Winning” and the release date of 2024.2.20 appeared. Although the video was short, IU’s facial expressions and sophisticated visuals stimulated curiosity about her upcoming mini album.
Earlier, IU ranked No. 1 on Melon Top 100 and HOT 100 in just one hour after the release of her pre-release song “Love Wins All” on January 24th. After that, she has firmly maintained her No. 1 positions on Genie, Bugs, Flo, Vibe (daily chart), YouTube Music (weekly chart), and cumulative integration of iChart (as of Januart 29th)
