BLACKPINK’s Lisa Honored “Cultural Icon” After Crazy Horse Controversy

BLACKPINK’s Lisa has earned herself another prestigious title

In a recent event at the Biltmore in Los Angeles, the Hall of Fame Asia 2023 celebrated the achievements of remarkable individuals from various fields. Among them, BLACKPINK Lisa was bestowed with the title of “Cultural Icon.”

This accomplishment came shortly after the controversy surrounding her daring performance at the Crazy Horse cabaret in Paris, France.

Lisa’s been consistently setting records and making history as an Asian artist. Coming from Thailand, she’s achieved feats that place her in a league of her own, and this title makes her the first K-pop artist to be acknowledged in the Hall of Fame Asia.

Previously, the Guinness World Records recognized Lisa as the Fastest K-pop Female Soloist to Reach 1 Billion Streams on Spotify. Taking into account all her achievements, Lisa now holds an impressive eight Guinness World Records, establishing her as a true global icon.
