The music video for BLACKPINK’s ‘Kill This Love’ has surpassed 1.6 billion views on YouTube.

According to YG Entertainment, on the 19th, BLACKPINK‘s ‘Kill This Love’ music video surpassed 1.6 billion YouTube views at 3:17 am on the same day. It has been about 3 years and 2 months since it was released on YouTube. 

With this achievement, BLACKPINK became the first K-pop artist to have two music videos with more than 1.6 billion views. Previously, their other mega-hit song ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ reached 1.6 billion views, and this music video is currently heading towards 1.9 billion views.

‘Kill This Love’ is a song with strong lead brass and magnificent drum sound. The music video captured the hearts of fans worldwide with BLACKPINK’s powerful yet charismatic choreography and sophisticated visuals.
