Recently, Xports News reported that BLACKPINK’s Jisoo will pursue individual activities under the management of a subsidiary company belonging to Biomom, a brand founded by her brother, Kim Jung-hun.
Notably, just one day earlier, Biomom announced the recruitment of experienced personnel for its subsidiary named Blissoo. This further fueled speculation that, after not renewing her personal contract with YG, Jisoo would operate under her brother’s company.
Just about a day after the news surfaced, however, YG pulled a move which drew the attention of fans. In particular, it is discovered that Jisoo’s profile under the Actors category on YG Stage, part of YG’s official website, has been removed. Previously, Jisoo’s profile had been added to this category as she appeared on the K-drama “Snowdrop”.
As a result, it can be inferred that Jisoo’s acting activities will not be managed by YG.
Earlier, Blissoo can be seen recruiting experienced staff for various positions such as video content production, design, accounting, security, etc., accompanied by an image of Jisoo with the message, “We are rapidly expanding entertainment business activities both domestically and internationally, helping artists develop and receive love from Kpop fans.”
This has led the online community to speculate that Jisoo might become both an artist and director at Blissoo. However, responding to the Korean media about Jisoo joining the company, a representative from Biomom stated, “It’s difficult to determine the relationship with Blissoo. We don’t know much about the CEO’s family relationship.”
