BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Reflects on Conclusion of World Tour: “Started with Worries, Ended with Happiness”
BLACKPINK’s Jisoo shared her thoughts on finishing the world tour BORN PINK
On September 20th, Jisoo opened up on her personal Instagram account, “We have come to the end of BLACKPINK’s BORN PINK WORLD TOUR that began on October 15th and 16th, 2022, and ended on September 16th and 17th, 2023.”
She continued, “When I first started the tour, I was half worried about whether I could meet our BLINKs whom I hadn’t seen for a long time and whether I could do well.” She expressed her gratitude to all the fans from various countries who enjoyed the tour with BLACKPINK, “Thank you so much, and we love you.”
She added, “It was such an honor to have been able to perform at big shows like ‘Coachella’ and ‘BST’ during the tour. I was also happy to release my first solo album and perform my solo songs at the concerts.”
Jisoo expressed her joy at being able to wrap up the tour in Seoul, where it all began, “I’m so happy that we were able to wrap up the tour where we started in Seoul. I want to express my gratitude and love to my members who finished it well and healthily.”
She went on to say, “As this tour has left us with so many memories, I also want to thank TEAM BLACKPINK who have been with us for about a year!! We are so grateful and proud of all the performance staff, hair-makeup staff, and dancers who worked with us during the tour.”
Last weekend, BLACKPINK held the finale of their world tour BORN PINK at Gocheok Sky Dome on September 16th and 17th, after starting the tour in October last year.
