BLACKPINK’s Rosé has become the center of discussion online after a controversial interview question about her fellow members.

Rosé recently appeared on The Howard Stern Show, where the host asked her, “Do you think they [the members] are jealous of your success?” The question quickly sparked backlash, as many felt it was designed to create unnecessary drama within the group.

Despite the awkward moment, Rosé responded with warmth and loyalty, making it clear that there is no jealousy within BLACKPINK.

“Not at all, I think, no, no, because I think we all know, we all are kind of doing this simultaneously from the group and going on to solo. We kind of all understand how much work went behind this kind of being independent, so every time, we just bond about all of our experiences and stuff, so it’s really wholesome and stuff. They always check in on me, I love them, they’re like my family and sisters,” Rosé explained.

While some fans criticized the situation—arguing that the other members wouldn’t have been put in such a position—many defended Rosé, praising her professionalism in handling a “loaded” question. Supporters emphasized that the accusations of her being a “mean girl” were unfair and that she turned a potentially harmful moment into one that highlighted BLACKPINK’s unity.

The incident has since gone viral, sparking a debate about Western media’s approach to K-pop idols and whether such questions are deliberately designed to stir controversy.
