During the interview, Lisa revealed her special connection with Celine that dated back to her pre-debut time. When asked about her first Celine item that she got, the idol revealed it was a black belt bag. She recalled in detail that she wanted to have something that she could carry for all her life, so she was not thinking about saving money. Because her cousin was into fashion at the time, they recommended a designer bag from Celine. Lisa looked up Celine’s bags for the first time and fell in love immediately with the black belt bag. She reportedly took a cab and bought it the morning after.
Many years later, she became the muse for Celine’s creative director, Hedi Slimane, and a Global Ambassador for the brand. Fans feel it is as if Lisa was destined to be Celine’s Ambassador.
