BLACKPINK is about to wrap up their year-long BORN PINK world tour. However, Lisa’s outfits have sparked controversy during some recent encore shows in North America.
Some fans even criticized Lisa’s stylist for dreasing her in overly short outfits. During the recent encore show in San Francisco, Jisoo and Jennie had unexpected reactions when they saw Lisa’s outfit.
Specifically, during the performance of “Tally,” Jisoo was taken aback, unable to hide her surprise at Lisa’s bold outfit that exposed her curves. Even Jisoo had an embarrassed expression as she looked towards Jennie. Jennie also noticed Lisa’s sexy outfit and could only close her eyes and smile.
In the recent encore show in Los Angeles, Lisa’s outfit continued to generate controversy, being even sexier than the one in San Francisco. During “Kick It,” Lisa wore an alluring black outfit. However, the lower part of her outfit was designed with daring cuts, once again exposing her body line.
This outfit has left many of Lisa’s fans displeased with the stylist. Despite performing intense choreography, Lisa continuously adjusted her outfit after each singing line to avoid any wardrobe mishap on stage. This moment also led to some opinions suggesting that Lisa herself may not be comfortable with such short outfits.
This is not the first time Lisa has faced controversy due to her short outfits. Previously, during a concert in Taiwan, Lisa received mixed opinions for wearing an excessively short skirt, despite wearing protective shorts. The length of the skirt was even said to be no longer than a sleeve.
During the performance of “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du,” Rosé couldn’t help but be taken aback when she saw Lisa’s skirt and immediately informed Jisoo. She even playfully “hit” Lisa.
In a previous concert in New Jersey (USA), Lisa wore a unique and edgy pink outfit from the brand Manmade Skins. However, unlike the original version, BLACKPINK’s stylist made alterations by cutting off the white ruffles of the dress, making it shorter.
