BLACKPINK Jisoo’s drama “Snowdrop” releases new romantic posters and still cuts ahead of first broadcast

Jung Hae In and BLACKPINK’s Jisoo tease their sweet chemistry in the latest posters and stills for “Snowdrop”.

Earlier today (December 14), 4 days before the official release, JTBC dropped new posters and still cuts of Jung Hae In and BLACKPINK’s Jisoo for Snowdrop, including the first lovey-dovey two-shots of the most anticipated on-screen couples this December.

The main couple’s visuals are lauded by netizens. However, some individuals are still unsatisfied because they have not witnessed Jisoo‘s various expressions. She still appears to be taking photos rather than filming. These remarks, however, elicited a slew of conflicting responses.

Some comments from netizens:

  • Jisoo’s facial features are perfect. Her eyes, nose, and lips are all pretty
  • Jisoo is pretty but why does she look stiff?
  • Honestly, idols should start off with supporting roles. I’m not hating on her, I’m just saying her eyes are not expressive.
  • These are only still cuts. How can you judge her acting based on still cuts? At least wait for the drama to come out first. Jisoo looks the same as other actresses in still cuts, you just have prejudice against her.
  • Poor Jisoo. Being pretty is also her fault.
  • You can judge all you want after actually watching her act, isn’t it too ridiculous to say she’s stiff based on still cuts?

Directed and written by the production crew of SKY Castle, Snowdrop takes place in Seoul in 1987. The drama tells the love story between Im Su Ho (Jung Hae In), a student at a prestigious university who rushes into a women’s university covered in blood one day, and Eun Young Ro (BLACKPINK’s Jisoo), a student at the women’s university who hides and takes care of him despite facing danger under close surveillance.

Snowdrop airs every Saturday and Sunday starting from December 18 both on JTBC and Disney+.
