Park Eun-bin: “2021 has been full of “The King’s Affection”, I wish this lingering feeling will last for a long time”

KBS 2TV’s Monday-Tuesday drama “The King’s Affection” (directed by Song Hyun-wook, Lee Hyun-seok, scripted by Han Hee-jung, produced by Arc Media, Monster Union) will wrap up its 10-week run on December 14. Prior to this, Park Eun-bin, Rowoon, Nam Yoon-soo, Choi Byung-chan, Bae Yoon-kyung, and Jung Chae-yeon, who have led the secret royal romance narrative with different colors of affection, expressed their feelings to viewers.

#. Park Eun-bin: “The year 2021 has been full of ‘The King’s Affection’”.

Park Eun-bin, who has spent the best year of her career perfectly creating the character of “Lee Hwi,” a female king dressed as a man. “As I watch the last episode, I finally can realize the end of “The King’s Affection” has approached. I’ve spent 2021 full of “The King’s Affection”. I’m very grateful and affectionate to the viewers who’ve been with me, waited for and be affectionate towards “The King’s Affection”. I wish this lingering feeling will last for a long time,” she said with gratitude.

#. Ro-woon: “A memory that I can’t and I don’t want to forget. Thank you”.

Ro-woon sorrowfully and lovingly showed his devotion for “Jung Ji-woon,” a character who went beyond the cosial status and gender, solidifying his position of “Romance King” even in historical dramas. He said, “Thank you to the staff, directors, writers, and fellow actors so much for making a memory that I can’t and don’t want to forget. Even though there were hard moments, but I had hoped that “The King’s Affection” would never end.” In addition, he said, “I would like to express my gratitude to those who supported both Hwi and Ji-woon’s and Dami and Jiwoon’s love, and I hope you remember this drama for a long time.”

#. Nam Yoon-su: “Meaningful works, meaningful days”.

Nam Yoon-soo, who played Lee Hyun, who was lonely and painful but always claimed to be a happy, supportive brother with a smiling face, causing a second male lead syndrome everywhere. “This drama was more meaningful because it was the first historical drama I challenged with a lot of thought and effort. It was meaningful days with the directors, seniors, and fellow actors who have helped me a lot,” he said. “I am so grateful to the staff who have worked hard and the viewers who have loved ‘The King’s Affection’ until the end and sent me their support. #. Choi Byung-chan: “Unforgettable happy moments”

Choi Byung-chan, who played the role of Kim Ga-on / Kang Eun-seo, shared his feelings, “First of all, I would like to thank the director, fellow actors and staff for helping me finish the film successfully. Thanks to all of you, I was able to adapt to the set and had unforgettable happy moments until the end of ‘The King’s Affection’.” Then, he promised, “Last but not least, I would like to express my gratitude towards viewers. #. Bae Yoon-kyung: “I grew up and learned a lot”

Bae Yoon-kyung (as Shin So-eun) confessed, “I learned a lot while doing a long-term historical drama for the first time, and I was able to grow one step further. I had fun every day with the director, writer, staff as well as colleagues who were full of energy. I am grateful that ‘The King’s Affection’ received global attention as everyone worked hard. I will cherish the support and love of viewers deeply, and I will do my best to show mature acting skills through other works.”

#. Jung Chae-yeon: “I was happy to be with ‘The King’s Affection’ in 2021”

Jung Chae-yeon took on the role of Noh Ha-kyung in “The King’s Affection”. Ha-kyung was also such an affectionate character that she said, “There’s still a lot left from the day I first met her until now.” Therefore, the actress did not forget to thank Ha-kyung, “I had many joyful moments while transforming into Ha-kyung. I learned a lot by acting out various emotions.” Then, she added, “I was happy to spend 2021 with ‘The King’s Affection’ and viewers who loved it.”
