BLACKPINK Jisoo won Outstanding Actress Award, “Thank you for the love towards ‘Snowdrop’ and Young Ro”
BLACKPINK Jisoo was recently crowned Outstanding Actress in the Hallyu Drama category.
On the afternoon of September 22nd, the 2022 Seoul Drama Awards was held at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. Here, actor Joo Sang Wook and Apink member and actress Jung Eun Ji were in charge of hosting the ceremony.
At Seoul Drama Awards, the Outstanding Actor and Outstand Actress winners in the Hallyu drama category were selected through votes from Hallyu fans around the world without evaluation by the judges. As a result, Jisoo, who assumed the role of female lead Eun Young Ro in the JTBC drama “Snowdrop” took the first place with 41.6% of the votes and was crowned Outstanding Actress at this award ceremony.
Due to schedule conflicts, Jisoo was unable to attend, but the idol-actress did send a thank you video, where she said, “It is a great honor for me to receive such a great award. It’s a shame that I couldn’t attend because of my schedule, so I greet you through this video.”
She also added, “I am happy to receive the award, and thank you to everyone who loved the drama and Young Ro. I will try my best to show you good performances in the future.”
