On February 27, Jisoo appeared alongside Seo In Guk, her co-star from Netflix’s Boyfriend On Demand, on the YouTube channel “You In Radio.” During the show, the two stars spoke candidly about love, dating advice, and their individual perspectives on relationships.
Seo In Guk shared that he used to frequently give relationship advice to people around him. “At some point, I stopped,” he admitted. “Now I mostly just listen. No matter what advice you offer, people already know what they want. They’ve usually made their decision.” Still, when it comes to sensing a lack of interest from someone, he suggested taking subtle action. “You’ll eventually feel it. Try creating a small opportunity like asking them out for a meal or casually bringing something up to see how they respond,” he explained.
Jisoo, however, revealed she handles things very differently. “I don’t really talk to others about my personal problems, especially dating,” she said. She shared that even during serious disagreements when she and her partner might stop talking for days before reconciling people around her often have no idea. “I just don’t feel the need to consult anyone. Even if I did, I don’t think they would really listen anyway,” she added.
During a playful balance game segment, Jisoo made some surprising choices that reflected her independent personality. When asked to choose between “a partner who never texts first” and other options, she selected the one who never initiates messages, saying, “I’ll just do it.”
Faced with choosing between “a partner who remembers every anniversary” and “one who forgets them completely,” Jisoo picked the latter. She explained, “I’m not good with dates myself. If they try too hard to remember everything, it might just end up stressing both of us out.”
In another lighthearted question choosing between someone who can’t handle spicy food and someone who can’t eat sweets Jisoo quickly chose the person who dislikes spicy food. “It would be disappointing if they can’t eat dessert,” she said. “I always have something sweet after a meal.”
Through her relaxed and honest answers, Jisoo once again showcased her straightforward and self-assured nature, giving fans a refreshing look at how she approaches love and relationships.
