On December 12, the winners of the 2023 China Year End Awards were revealed, and here, BLACKPINK swept multiple wins, for both the group and its members Jisoo and Jennie.
In particular, with their game OST “The Girls”, BLACKPINK has been crowned with the “Best Selling Female Group Single” and the “Best Selling OST” awards.
Meanwhile, Jennie took home the “Best Selling All English Single” award for her song “You & Me”.
Most spectacular of all was Jisoo, who released her solo debut single “ME” and viral title track “Flower” this year. With “ME”, Jisoo has won “Best Selling Solo Kpop Single”, “Best Selling Kpop Single”, “Best Selling International Single”, and even one of the four major categories, “Best Selling Single”.
With these achievements, Jisoo is the artist with the 2nd most wins at the 2023 China Year End Awards alongside Latto and SEVENTEEN, whilst BLACKPINK has the 4th most wins.
Jungkook, meanwhile, takes home the most awards at this Chinese awards ceremony.
