BLACKPINK Jennie’s “SOLO” MV hit 800 million views on Youtube – the first and best record among female soloists in Korea
The music video of BLACKPINK Jennie’s solo song “SOLO surpassed 800 million views. As a Korean female solo artist, she is the first and best in this field with virtually no rival.
According to YG Entertainment on March 17th, the MV of Jennie’s solo song “SOLO” exceeded 800 million views on Youtube at 3:24 A.M on the same day. “SOLO” earned this record after three years and four months since it was released on November 12th, 2018. This is such a unique achievement for a music video of a solo artist.
“SOLO” music video reached 100 million views in 23 days, 200 million views in 90 days, 300 million views in 182 days, 400 million views in 13 months, 500 million views in 20 months, 600 million views in 26 months, and 700 million views in 32 months. Considering the speed of this MV hitting 800 million views did not decrease much, Jennie’s stable global popularity is nothing to be questioned.
