BLACKPINK Jennie and Rosé reportedly hold a “free mini-concert” in Paris
BLACKPINK Jennie and Rosé visited a restaurant and karaoke room in Paris, according to a witness.
On this annual Cannes International Film Festival, two out of four BLACKPINK members got the chance to attend on two separate events.
On May 17th (local time), Rosé appeared at the Film Festival as the ambassador of Saint Laurent, grabbing reporters’ attention.
Jennie also made an entrance at the Film Festival as a cast member of the HBO’s series “The Idol”. On May 22nd (local time), she was introduced by her stage name “Jennie Ruby Jane”, marking her acting debut alongside Hollywood actors such as The Weeknd, Lily-Rose Depp, and Troye Sivan.
Following their appearances at Cannes, netizens are interested in the BLACKPINK members’ rest stops in France.
According to netizens, Jennie and Rosé dined out at a Korean restaurant in Paris and later stopped by a karaoke room just upstairs. In the restaurant downstairs, the restaurant guests said they could hear Jennie and Rosé singing. Nonetheless, they enjoyed their meals while listening to the BLACKPINK pair’s singing performances. One netizen described the singing as a “mini live concert”.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is carrying out the rest of their “BORN PINK” concert. In July, the YG girl group will be the first K-pop artist to perform as a headliner at the Hyde Park British Summer Time Festival.
