A dancer and choreographer who worked with BLACKPINK shared some behind-the-scenes story about the group’s recent world tour. On March 7, a video titled “A Dancer of BLACKPINK tells you everything you need to know about BLACKPINK’s world tour” was uploaded to the Heyday YouTube channel.
In the video, the dancer said that it was an excellent opportunity to meet people from different countries and to perform on different stages of BLACKPINK’s world tour. The preparation process for each country’s concert was unique, and fans’ reactions to the performances were different as well.
The dancer also shared heartwarming stories about BLACKPINK members, saying that after each concert, the group would approach the staff first to say “Thank you for your hard work.” Even though he was not a YG-affiliated dancer, BLACKPINK always treated him well.
Moreover, BLACKPINK gifted all the staff who worked hard with Apple AirPods Max after the Korean concert.
The dancer praised BLACKPINK, saying that the members were generous and thoughtful, and they gave back as much as they received. BLACKPINK recently concluded their world tour “BORN PINK,” which is the largest K-pop girl group world tour to date, attracting approximately 1.5 million fans. They successfully completed 14 shows in seven cities in North America and ten shows in seven cities in Europe last year. The group is now meeting more fans in Asia, and they are scheduled to perform as headliners at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in the US in April and at the Hyde Park British Summer Time Festival in the UK in July.
