Coachella, which started in 1999 with a long tradition and authority, is a two-week music festival held in Indio, California, USA, with about 300,000 spectators every year. The Coachella performance hall is about 92 times the size of Jamsil Stadium in Seoul, and it is a festival that exchanges not only music but also cultural trends such as fashion and lifestyle.

BLACKPINK was the first K-pop girl group to appear on Coachella in 2019, and now, they once again got invited to perform. So far, BLACKPINK is the only Kpop artist to stand on the Coachella stage as a “Headliner”.

In addition, BLACKPINK appeared alongside world-renowned pop stars in the documentary “Coachella: 20 Years in the Desert”, which commemorates the 20th anniversary of the music festival. They were also selected as one of Coachella’s “legendary stages”, proving huge meaning and monumental footsteps for BLACKPINK and for Kpop as a whole.

Attention is being focused on what kind of new stage BLACKPINK, who returns to Coachella after 4 years, will captivate music fans with.
