On October 20, YG Entertainment confirmed the news fans had been waiting for: “BLACKPINK will begin filming the music video for their new song this week. Both the members and staff are doing their best to deliver the best possible result.”
The agency also added that the upcoming album is in its final production phase. “We sincerely thank fans who have been waiting for BLACKPINK’s return. The album is in its final stages to ensure the highest level of musical completion. We will share good news soon through official promotions.”
This marks the group’s first full-unit activity since the release of “JUMP” in July. BLACKPINK is currently in the middle of their massive world tour BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR ‘DEADLINE’, which kicked off at Goyang Sports Complex and spans 16 cities with 33 shows.
Fans across the globe are buzzing with anticipation as this signals the group’s first group comeback in months, following individual activities and a record-breaking tour.
