On April 16, BIG Naughty uploaded a track titled “Industry Knows”, which contained a series of shocking claims aimed at Swings.
Through the lyrics, he alleged that:
- Swings pressured artists into inappropriate relationships in exchange for career advancement
- The company sold neighboring rights without artists’ consent
- Funds were used to repay debts and purchase luxury items
- He was physically assaulted by Swings
The accusations quickly spread online, igniting intense debate among fans and the wider music industry.

In response, Swings went live to address the controversy directly, strongly denying the claims.
Regarding the financial allegations, he stated: “If I had stolen money, would artists like NO:EL and Yang Hong Won have renewed their contracts?”
He explained that:
- The company received approximately 12 billion KRW in advance payments
- Some music rights were sold for around 14 billion KRW
- A significant portion 9 to 10 billion KRW was distributed to artists
Swings emphasized that these decisions were made to protect artists financially, not exploit them. Addressing the assault claim, he offered a completely different version of events.

He claimed CCTV footage exists, stating that BIG Naughty was intoxicated and initiated physical contact first. “He hit my arm, I was pushed, and I lightly pushed back. Yet he claims to be the victim,” Swings said.
He further revealed that the two had already reconciled after the incident, even releasing text messages exchanged between them as proof.
Despite his detailed explanations, Swings made it clear he would not respond to every accusation: “I hate that you keep distorting facts because of your ego… You’re only 24. Your future is bright why do this?”
He concluded by stating that many of the remaining claims were false and not worth addressing individually.

The situation has now evolved into a classic “truth battle,” with both sides presenting sharply conflicting narratives.
As neither party shows signs of backing down, fans and industry observers are closely watching to see whether additional evidence (such as CCTV footage) will be released, other artists will step forward or the dispute will escalate further.
For now, the controversy highlights ongoing tensions within the Korean hip-hop industry particularly around artist management, transparency, and power dynamics.
