According to reports on April 16, rookie actor Won Kyu Bin has been selected to take on the role of Kim Bong Seok in Moving Season 2, stepping into the shoes originally filled by Lee Jung Ha.
In Season 1, Bong Seok was one of the central characters, loved for his innocence and hidden abilities. Lee Jung Ha gained widespread attention for his dedication to the role most notably gaining 30kg to fully embody the character.

However, due to his mandatory military service, Lee Jung Ha will not be returning for the sequel. The actor enlisted on January 26 and is expected to be discharged in July 2027.
Insiders revealed that Moving 2 has already kicked off production preparations. A large-scale script reading reportedly took place at KINTEX in Ilsan, gathering around 150 actors and staff members, including Won Kyu Bin.
Season 2 is expected to expand its universe significantly, introducing new characters while placing greater emphasis on the adult generation.

With Bong Seok’s role expected to have a smaller presence compared to Season 1, the production team appears to have opted for a bold move casting a relatively unknown rookie instead of an established star.
This decision also aligns with the series’ evolving narrative, which shifts focus beyond the younger trio.
Born in 2004, Won Kyu Bin is a rising newcomer who debuted in 2025 through a web drama. Prior to his official debut, he caught attention appearing on YouTube content such as “Hong Seok Cheon’s Jewel Box.”

He is also set to appear in an upcoming tvN drama in June, where he will play a college student, further building his acting portfolio ahead of Moving 2.
Following the success of Season 1, expectations are high for the sequel. While characters like Bong Seok, Hee Soo, and Kang Hoon led the first season, the next chapter will reportedly explore a broader storyline and generational shifts.
With fresh faces like Won Kyu Bin joining the cast, Moving 2 is shaping up to deliver both continuity and change keeping fans curious about how the beloved story will evolve.
