BIG BANG T.O.P hints at a solo comeback 10 years after making a retirement remark, “Still making albums”

BIG BANG member T.O.P gave a signal about his solo comeback.

On May 29th, T.O.P posted a short video on his SNS account. The video shows T.O.P focusing on making music beats.

As he added the caption “STILL MAKING MY ALBUMS”, fans are guessing that he will be releasing new songs soon.

In 2017, T.O.P was sentenced to 10 months in suspended prison and 2 years of probation on charges of taking marijuana.

At that time, a netizen commented, “Go back on hiatus to reflect on yourself, do not ever return to the music industry”. T.O.P then replied, “I get it! God, I have no intention of doing it either. Please look at these pictures of the animals”, raising speculations that he might be retiring from the entertainment industry.

After the release of BIG BANG’s new song in April last year, T.O.P ended his exclusive contract with YG Entertainment.

YG stated, “We respect T.O.P’s opinion that he wanted to expand his activities as a solo artist besides being a BIG BANG member.”

After his contract with YG expired, T.O.P made an extraordinary move by joining the wine business and became one of the first civilians in the moon travel project “DearMoon”.
