Beyoncé paid 130 million won in transportation expenses for fans

As fans who came to see Beyoncé’s concert worried over missing the last train, the singer made an impressive action.

On August 6th (local time), a concert belonging to Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour was held in Washington DC, USA.

However, due to heavy rain and thunderstorms, the start was delayed for about 2 hours, causing the concert to end much later than initially planned. As a result, many fans were worried that they would miss the last train,

In the end, on the same evening, the Washington metropolitan transportation agency issued an emergency statement that the subway would operate for an additional hour for Beyoncé concert attendees.

According to the agency, the cost of operating trains for an additional hour and opening all 98 stations during that time, which is $100,000, will be personally supported by Beyoncé.
