Even though it was raining, NewJeans’ rehearsal for Jamboree K-pop Super Live Concert still proceeded.
From 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM KST on August 11th, the 2023 World Scout Jamboree ‘K-pop Super Live’ concert will take place at Seoul’s World Cup Stadium.
The concert’s lineup features NewJeans, IVE, NCT Dream, ITZY, Mamamoo, The Boyz, Shownu·Hyungwon, fromis_9, ZEROBASEONE, Kang Daniel, Kwon Eunbi, Jo Yuri, and more.
NewJeans proceeded with the rehearsal despite the heavy rain, aiming to show the best stage to Jamboree members.
In a video posted on Twitter, NewJeans could be seen practicing choreography under the tent to avoid the rain.
Despite the unfavorable weather that made the ground slippery, NewJeans members showed their passion by dancing their best.
Watching NewJeans’ rehearsal video, netizens left comments like “Be careful not to get hurt,” “They set up a tent and rehearsed, despite the pouring rain,” and “They must have gone through a lot with the heavy rain.”
A closing ceremony for the ‘2023 World Scout Jamboree Competition’ will also take place at the World Cup Stadium on this day.
Due to the event, roads around the Seoul World Cup Stadium will be closed until 11:00 PM KST. 14 bus routes, including 12 city buses and 2 village buses that pass through the World Cup Road and Jeungsan Road, will operate on detour routes.
