Malaysian actress Bella Astillah married Singaporean actor Aliff Aziz in 2016 when she was just 22 years old. However, their relationship soon became overshadowed by controversy. In 2019, Aliff Aziz was reportedly photographed with multiple women, triggering a series of scandals that led Astillah to file for divorce.
According to Astillah, the widely reported cheating incidents were only a fraction of what actually happened. During an emotional press conference, she claimed her husband had been unfaithful 11 times, stating she had proof of the alleged affairs. “People only know Aliff had cheated on me four or five times, but in actuality, it was 11 times. I have proof, and Aliff also knows it,” Astillah said.
Among the most shocking allegations was her claim that Aliff Aziz had an affair with her younger sister, Eriqa. The revelation caused a deep rift within her family. “As many know, I have three sisters. Aliff once had an affair with my younger sister, Eriqa. It was really painful. The worst thing about it is that I now regret disowning my sister instead of Aliff,” she stated.
Astillah also addressed rumors about her own behavior during the troubled marriage. She admitted that she intentionally grew close to Malaysian actor Muaz Zabir in an attempt to make her husband jealous.
Meanwhile, Aliff Aziz was also linked to other alleged relationships, including being spotted alone multiple times with Malaysian actress Ruhainies. He was additionally photographed kissing another woman, identified as Mei Fina, while still married, according to reports from Singaporean media.
Despite the controversy, the couple briefly reconciled after their first divorce in 2019 and remained married for another five years. However, their relationship ultimately ended permanently when they finalized their second divorce on June 13, 2024.
